Ensemble Symphony Orchestra

Ensemble Symphony Orchestra is born within the Symphonic Orchestra in Massa e Carrara thanks to the fusion of classical and lyrical experiences of some of the best Italian instrumentalists coming from important national theaters such as the Carlo Felice in Genoa, the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, the Teatro Comunale in Bologna, the Orchestra della Toscana, the Fondazione Toscanini in Parma etc. To this day it is one of the most known orchestras in the national artistic panorama, thanks to the many projects in which it was involved and the national and international renowned artist with whom it collaborated. The orchestra performed in the most important Italian theaters thanks to the versatility and the attention paid to every kind of musical genre: their repertoire goes from arias to the most famous soundtracks of world renowned movies. In fact, thanks to the involvement with a lot of projects besides jazz, pop and gospel solists, the Ensemble Symphony Orchestra shows an amazing understanding of structures and languages different from the classical ones, beyond an outstanding experience in amplified lives.
Among the projects realized we can rate those with Francesco Renga, Morgan, Stefano Bollani, Enrico Rava, Paolo Silvestri, Rossana Casale, Maurizio Giammarco, Maurizio Colonna, Renato Serio, Ron, Luis Bacalov, Giovanni Allevi, Enzo Favata, Mimmo Locasciulli, Oscar Williams, Mario Biondi, Mauro Ermanno Giovanardi, Renato Zero, PFM, Andrea Bocelli, Francesco De Gregori, Pooh, Giorgio Panariello, Baustelle, Riccardo Cocciante and Tiromancino.
In 2011 the Ensemble Symphony Orchestra recorded the CD DUE for Tattica with Mario Biondi.
In 2012 the Ensemble Symphony Orchestra re- corded the Live DVD Serenata Portofino with Andrea Bocelli and recorded the strings for Francesco De Gregori’s CD Sulla strada.
In 2013 it recorded SAGA – Il canto dei Canti. Soundtrack of “Opera barbara” by and with Giovanni Lindo Ferretti, composed and produced by Lorenzo Esposito Fornasari for Sony Music. Again in 2013 it supplied sound and image for Giorgio Panariello’s show In mezz@voi produced by F&P Group.
Many the Ensemble Symphony Orchestra’s tours. In 2013, the orchestra was involved in the following tours: Pooh’s Opera seconda, Giovanni Allevi’s Sunrise, Baustelle’s Fantasma Tour, Riccardo Cocciante’s Cocciante canta Cocciante and Tiromancino’s Fino a qui Live Tour. In November 2013 the double CD and double DVD – Pooh Opera Seconda Live per Trio realized in the Mario del Monaco theater in Treviso were released. In December 2013 the Ensemble Symphony Orchestra recorded Mango’s new discography work which will be released in 2014 for Sony Music. From 2015 to 2017 ESO recorded with Baustelle, Franco Battiato and Giovanni Allevi.

The orchestra was also involved in many private events, both in its smallest formation and in its complete one thanks to its versatility and refinement. The Ensemble Symphony Orchestra was used for fashion shows and big private events, just to name a few, the participation in Philipp Plein’s 2011/2012 fashion show, Piaggio 2012 event c/o Grimaldi Forum in Monte Carlo, Cala di Volpe 2013 and the concert in favour of Telethon 2013 with Giovanni Allevi at the Malher Auditorium in Milan.  From October 2018 the Orchestra is involved in The Legend of Morricone Tour, a tribute to the great Italian composer Ennio Morricone, that’s been sold out in the most important theaters.

The staff includes the structure of the big symphonic orchestra of 54 elements with a large rhythmic section, a piano and different saxophone sections as to compose a vast ensemble apt to perform the compositions which require a big orchestra. This allowed the Ensemble Symphony Orchestra to satisfy the needs of artists of any musical genre. It is worth remarking the collaboration with the evergreen Sting during his Symphonycity Tour 2011, where, in Piazza della Loggia in Brescia and in the Auditorium Parco della Musica Cavea in Rome he performed his tracks with a staff of 64 elements.
Thanks to musicians of unquestioned value and artistic sensibility, the Ensemble Symphony Orchestra is able to move the audience even with a reduced staff like a ‘simple’ but effective quartet of bows, very requested for private events of small and medi- um dimensions or TV programs, among which we can name: Chiambretti Night with Francesco Renga, Celebrity On Ice with Francesca Renga, Quelli che il calcio with Mario Biondi, Mauro Ermanno Giovanardi, Francesco Renga, Domenica Cinque with the Pooh, Buona Domenica with Francesco Renga, TgUno Mattina and Tg5 with the Pooh, XFactor 2012 with Kyle Minogue, Telethon 2012 with the Pooh and Wind Music Award with Re- nato Zero, Mario Biondi, Francesco Renga and the Pooh, Tezenis Summer Festival from Piazza del Popolo in Rome with the Pooh, Che tempo che fa, Rai 3 with Robbie Williams.
